Childcare Program

The WASC Childcare Program is a school-aged childcare program housed in a nurturing and secure educational setting directly across the street from West Elementary School.   Our programs are administered by retired employees of Lancaster City Schools.  The staff is trained in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases, and Child Abuse Recognition.  An experienced early childhood professional is available to assist with student and family needs.

The WASC is a collaborative partner with West Elementary School and Lancaster City Schools in implementing 21st Century Community Learning Center grant programs, and the staff works to insure that academic assistance and activities are aligned with the state standards and prescribed curriculum of all students in Lancaster.
