WINTER QUARTER 2007
The program will be conducted on five Saturdays – January 13th and 27th; February 10th and 24th, and March 10th. The program will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. each of those Saturdays. Students enrolled in the program will receive an assessment of their specific needs by a certified teacher or a four-year university student who is majoring in reading instruction and is enrolled in the diagnostic and remedial reading courses at Ohio University Lancaster Campus. Following the assessment the students will receive tutoring support in the areas of their particular needs. Ideas and materials for parent home support will be provided so parents can follow up the instruction after the program concludes. In addition, the assessment report information will be made available to the classroom teachers for their use in working with your child.
