Random Acts of Kindness

at the West After School Center

 
A Random Act of Kindness is one that is performed by a person or persons wishing to either assist or cheer up a stranger. There will generally be no other reason than to make people smile, or to be happier. This gesture maybe either spontaneous or something planned in advance. We salute and congratulate the students pictured above for being recognized by others for their random acts of kindness at the West After School Center.
 
If schools are closed for bad weather or cold -- where does your child go?

With sufficient enrollment, they could come here to the West After School Center and enjoy a safe, warm day of fun learning activities with their peers from other schools. The WASC can also be open for childcare on December 26, 27 and 28 for the convenience of those working parents needing childcare.

Cost:  $25.00 per day

The WASC can be open as early as 6:00 a.m. (if needed) and will close by 6:00 p.m.)

The cost of different (pro-rated) for those already enrolled in our childcare program.

I am inspired by: other people and their inspiring stories

To me, a perfect day is: a day without complications

Mrs. Blevins and her husband, the Rev. Jesse Blevins, moved to Lancaster this past summer. Rev. Blevins is the pastor at the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church.
