Random Acts of Kindness at the West After School Center |
 |
The WASC students are learning about paying forward by performing Random Acts of Kindness for others. The students at the center are encouraged to share their good deeds with Mrs. Bibler, who then puts their names in her RAC basket. On Fridays, we will share the student’s stories and recognize them for their thoughtfulness. Volunteers, staff, students and our partners are encouraged to participate.

| A Random Act of Kindness is one that is performed by a person or persons wishing to either assist or cheer up a stranger. There will generally be no other reason than to make people smile, or to be happier. This gesture maybe either spontaneous or something planned in advance. | ||

Registrations for the 2007-2008
after school childcare program at the WASC and Cedar CLC
remain open. With sufficient parent interest, the WASC can become equipped this year as a drop-in location for children of working parents on snow and emergency -school closure days. Open to any child K-5 in the area. Must have registration papers completed. We will be closed for Level-3 weather-related emergencies. |
