Please note that the WASC will be closed the week of March 24-28 for replacement of the carpet in our main room. The carpet will be replaced with commercial grade floor tile which will wear better and be easier to clean. The E.L.I. class and food service operation will be maintained and will work around the tile project.

My favorite style of music is: rock and rap

A Typical Daily Afternoon Tutoring/Childcare Schedule at the WASC

 3:30-3:40 - Student Gathering and Attendance at West School
3:40-3:50 - Recreation Time

3:50-4:00 - Snack Time - meet with mentor
4:00-5:00 - Academic Rotations (20 minutes each) - (a) LeapTrack; (b) Math/Computer; (c) Homework; Mentoring Activities (assisted by community volunteers Monday through Thursday)
5:00 - Free Choice Time; Games; Arts; Homework completion; Computers; LeapTrack continuance
5:30 - Supper Served

5:15-6:00 - Parents Pick Up Children
