This free program returns for another year. It was very well received. Plan now to make this a family event!

If schools are closed for bad weather or cold -- where does your child go?

With sufficient enrollment, they could come here to the West After School Center and enjoy a safe, warm day of fun learning activities with their peers from other schools. The WASC can also be open for childcare on December 26, 27 and 28 for the convenience of those working parents needing childcare.

Cost:  $25.00 per day

The WASC can be open as early as 6:00 a.m. (if needed) and will close by 6:00 p.m.)

The cost of different (pro-rated) for those already enrolled in our childcare program.

I was born in:  Lancaster, Ohio

My childhood ambition was to be: a doctor or a teacher

My job is: a substitute teacher for Lancaster City Schools

My favorite pastime is: hanging out on-line with my friends

If I were not living in Lancaster, I'd rather be: in Japan maybe

My favorite food is: BBQ ribs

My favorite style of music is: pretty much anything that doesn't hurt my head

My favorite television shows are: Psyche & Law and Order

My favorite movie is: Pirates of the Caribbean

My biggest challenge is: motivating myself to finish something sometimes

I am inspired by: various people/things

To me, a perfect day is: sleeping in, then working on things with my best friend.

My fondest memory of the WASC is: seeing the students improve over the year.
