Members of the LHS Band of Gold, fresh from the morning session of their two-a-day practices, visited the South School site of our Summer Lunch Program to enjoy lunch, talk with, and encourage young children to set their sites  on becoming a member of the band in 5th grade.  As you can see, the LHS percussion section was a huge hit.

BE THERE NEXT WEEK!!!

LOOK FOR THE LHS FOOTBALL TEAM at EAST SCHOOL on Thursday, August 14. Join them and find out from players themselves what it takes to prepare and play for the high school football team.

Healthy Living for Kids will be there to film our next show.

Quite often during at South School this summer, this young man brought his 4 foot ghost ball python to lay with and share with others. The kids love it! It was a hit at South School!

Our thanks to Mrs. Jan Duncan, Food Service Director for Lancaster City Schools, the Lancaster school's central office administration, principals, secretaries, cooks, and custodians for allowing use space at the schools and helping facilitate our Summer Lunch Program. Look for a wrap-up report soon.
